Set a Student's Profile Active on the App

By setting a student's profile active on a device, you enable them to seamlessly access lesson materials, complete assignments, and immerse themselves in interactive learning experiences. In this guide, we'll walk you through the simple steps to set your student's profile as active on a device, ensuring smooth navigation and optimal utilization of Reading.com resources. Step 1: Start by logging into your teacher account on the Reading.com app. Once logged in, you'll see a list of your classes displayed.

Step 2: Navigate to the class in which the student is enrolled. Tap on the class to enter its dashboard.

Step 3: Within the class, locate the student's profile you wish to set as active on the device. Tap on the student's name to proceed.

Step 4: A pop-up box will appear with the option to confirm your selection. Tap "Yes, set active" to designate the student's profile as active on the device.

Step 5: Once confirmed, the student's profile will be set as active. You'll notice their name displayed in the upper left-hand corner, indicating that their profile is currently in use.

Changing the Student's Profile:

If you need to change the active profile to another student, follow these additional steps:


  1. Tap on the Teacher's icon located to the left of the student's name in the upper left-hand corner.


  1. Enter your PIN to access the Teacher's section.

  1. Select the appropriate class and repeat steps 3 to 5 to set a different student's profile as active on the device.
