In this guide, we'll walk you through the steps to access these resources and empower you to make the most of your Reading.com account.
The Curriculum Page:
Upon logging into your account, click on the purple "View Curriculum" button located on the right-hand side of your Dashboard.
Alternatively, access the Curriculum page by clicking on the "Curriculum" tab on the left-hand side of your account.
Here, you'll find a wealth of resources, including the scope & sequence, printable activities, and our Grownup training series. The scope & sequence provides detailed lesson information, focusing on phonics instruction, phonemic awareness, letter recognition, blending, decoding, sight word identification, and reading comprehension.
The Grownup Training:
Our Grownup Training series offers valuable insights into handling new concepts with your students. While not mandatory, we highly recommend reviewing these lessons before introducing new concepts in your classroom to better understand how those concepts are introduced in the app itself. Simply click on the "View" button next to the concept you'd like to review. Completing the initial onboarding topic sets a strong foundation for success in utilizing Reading.com in your classroom.
The Scope & Sequence:
Access the Scope & Sequence from two locations on the Curriculum page: at the top or under the "Student Lessons" section. Click on the white "Scope & Sequence" button to open the PDF, providing you with a comprehensive overview of our 99 lessons.
The Printable Activities:
Printable activities serve as valuable reinforcement tools for students to use between lessons or independently. Each activity corresponds to a lesson and can be accessed by clicking on the "Printables" tab. The printable activities are files that are meant to be printed and are not a requirement.
